Launch day


Strange to start a devlog on launch day...

Here  is an overview. The development started in November 2022. It was planned as a small game, made in a few days. But the more I learned about the possibilities of the engine, the more the game grew, too. More details. More characters. More landscape. More plot. I even learned a new programming language and wrote some scripts I needed.

Since May 2023, there were some problems with the build process which stalled the development.  I tried to solve it and expanded my knowledge of  other engines. With the last complete build the game was tested in the meantime, giving me valuable hints what could be improved. At the beginning of 2024, I returned to the game, checked it again, was able to build it again carefully (which meant to give the engine as much RAM as possible) and updated the manual.

The last work was optimizing the homepage; my old version didn't seemed good enough anymore.

And now it all comes together. The game is launched.

As for marketing, I had posted some screenshots in developer communities. Could have done more but a long time it was not sure whether the game would be built in the first place.

But there it is. Get it!  It's free! Have fun!
